Miss Universe 2012 Miss USA Question and Answer

The finalist has to chose a judge who ask them the final question and they have 30 seconds to answer it.

Question from Miss Universe 2012
Judge Ximena Navarrete asked, “What is something that you have done, that you will never do again?”
Olivia Culpo, Miss USA Answer: First I’d like to start off by saying that every experience, no matter what it is, good or bad, you’ll learn from it. That’s just life, but something I’ve done that I’ve probably regretted would be picking on my siblings growing up because you appreciate them so much more when you’re older, you get closer with your family. Everybody fights with their siblings, right?! But I don’t regret it.

Question from Miss Philippines (1st runner up)
Judge Nigel Barker asked, As an international ambassador, do you think, being able to speak English should be a prerequisite to be Miss Universe? Why or why not?
Janine Tugonon, Miss Philippines Answer: For me, being Miss Universe is not just about knowing how to speak a specific language. It is being to influence and inspire other people. So whatever language you have, as long as you have the heart to serve and a strong mind to show to people then you can be Miss Universe.

Question from Miss Venezuela (2nd runner up)
Judge Diego Boneta asked, “If you could make a new law, what would it be? And explain why?” (Question asked in her language but she answered well enough in broken English)
Irene Sofia Esser Quintero, Miss Venezuela Answer: I think that any leys in Constitution or in life, they are already made. I think that we should have… ah…a straight way to go…in our similar, or, eh, in… in our life has it this. For example, I am a surfer and I think that the…the best wave that I can take is the wave that I wait for it. So…please…do our only…eh…law that we can do. Thank you, Vegas!

Question from Miss Australia Renae Ayris (3rd runner up)
Judge Lisa Vanderpump asked, As someone who might be winning a modeling contract, how would you feel if you were told to lose weight or risk losing an assignment?
Renae Ayris, Miss Australia Answer: Thank you for that question. I feel really comfortable in the way I feel and I think that’s really important. If someone told me that I’m overweight, then I would completely ignore it. As long as I’m feeling good within myself, then I think that’s all that matters. Thank you.

Question from Miss Brazil Gabriela Markus (4th runner up)
Judge Kerri Walsh asked, Like you, I wear swimsuit when I compete. What would you say to people who believe that women wearing swimsuits in a public forum reduces them to sexual objects?
Gabriela Markus, Miss Brazil Answer (Translate to English): I believe that it’s not just in the way that we dress that we show our true selves. We can show our character if we are using an evening gown or a bikini. The important thing is to show everyone the people that we are inside, in our hearts. Good night Las Vegas! Thank you!
