The company, McAfee, which makes internet security products do a study each year to find the most dangerous celebrity in cyberspace. Searching Google and opening such sites containing their names results in malware and viruses coming to user computers.
McAfee’s top five most dangerous celebrities 2011 in cyberspace are as follow:
Study indicates that searching singers and sports stars are safer compared to actors and models. This year supermodel Heidi Klum is on top of this list. According to this study there is chance of one in ten to arrive at spyware, spam, phishing and other viruses if user search and arrive at those sites.
Similarly the most dangerous male celebrity is Piers Morgan.
“While slightly safer than last year, searching for top celebrities continues to generate risky results,” said Paula Greve, director of Web security research at McAfee.
