Zappos has online presence because of the selling of shoes. Zappos is now planning to sell cloths and naked women will help to achieve this goal. A new campaign is released by Zappos featuring nude (only with shoes) models doing everyday things like jogging, hailing a cab, riding a scooter, running and playing Frisbee in public. The ads were shot outdoors in Manhattan locations like Park Avenue and the West Village. However the assets of the female models is covered with bars proclaiming “more than shoes!” This campaign is created by agency Mullen. These ads will appear in August issues of magazines like Lucky, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, and Harper’s Bazaar. The target audience is what Zappos calls “happy hunters,” or women who are fashion conscious and heavy consumers of online media. The naked man character, Arthur, will appear in ads at end of the July.
